Grab your apron… let’s get cooking!
2 ½ Cup All Purpose Flour (Tip #1: Use King Arthur All Purpose Flour)
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
½ Teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Chocolate Chips
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
1 Cup Plain Yogurt
2 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Tablespoon Fresh Grated Orange Zest
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 12-cup standard muffin tin with paper liners; set aside (Tip #2: Use Jumbo Sized Wrappers).
In a medium sized bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and chocolate chips and set aside.
In a small sized bowl, whisk together the sugar, oil, vanilla, orange zest, eggs and yogurt. Add to the dry ingredients. Stir mixture until just combined.
Using a portion scoop, scoop in to muffin tin lined with wrappers. Sprinkle the muffins with granulated sugar.
Place into oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, rotating pan halfway through. Remove from oven and place on wire rack to cool. Serve immediately or store in airtight container for 2 to 3 days.
